This policy explains what information CORTEX collects, how it is used, and the choices you have — including how to delete your data at any time.

Who we are

CORTEX is a marketing automation platform built and operated by the CORTEX team. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@cortexcreate.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and workspace details you provide when signing up.
  • Brand information you enter, such as company description, audience, tone of voice, and campaign settings.
  • If you connect Instagram through Meta: your Instagram Business or Creator account ID and username, an access token, and your recent posts and videos (captions, links, thumbnails, and media).
  • Content generated inside CORTEX, such as scripts, storyboards, images, and videos.

How we use information

  • To provide the service, including generating ad concepts and creative tailored to your brand.
  • To analyze your own connected Instagram videos and build a style profile used only within your workspace.
  • To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and keep audit records of actions taken in your workspace.

We do not sell your data. We do not use data from your connected Meta accounts for advertising to you or to anyone else, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Meta and Instagram data

CORTEX requests read-only access to your Instagram professional account and linked Facebook Page. Access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and are never exposed in the browser. CORTEX never publishes content or spends ad budget without your explicit approval.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers for hosting, storage, and AI processing. They process data only on our behalf and only to deliver the service.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect Instagram or request full deletion at any time — see our data deletion instructions. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@cortexcreate.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
